flow

A life of love, peace, gratitude, joy, and freedom is possible. You may not fully feel it yet, but that doesn’t mean it’s out of reach. Healing begins when we support the nervous system in doing what it was created to do: keep us safe, balanced, and connected.

Your autonomic nervous system (ANS) functions like a river, designed to flow freely, carrying signals between your brain and body to regulate everything from digestion and hormones to immune response and emotional health. When that system is regulated, your body can heal, adapt, and function as intended.

Over time, that flow can become disrupted.

Stress, trauma, toxic exposures, emotional suppression, food sensitivities, and even deeply held beliefs act like pebbles or sometimes boulders in the river. These disruptions create blockages that interrupt communication within the body. The nervous system begins to operate from survival rather than safety, often leading to chronic symptoms, emotional dysregulation, or a sense of feeling stuck.

The Sozo Flow Method is a trauma-informed, holistic approach I use to identify and release these disruptions gently and respectfully. Together, we work to clear stored stress patterns, unprocessed emotional residue, limiting beliefs, and energetic imprints from food, toxins, and past experiences.

When these blocks are released, your nervous system can return to its natural rhythm. From that place, healing unfolds.

This work isn’t about fixing you. It’s about helping your body return to what it already knows—how to heal, how to rest, how to feel safe again.

Emerging fields like epigeneticspsychoneuroimmunology, and quantum biology, aur emotions, environment, and lifestyle don’t just influence how we feel. They shape us at a cellular level. These inputs communicate directly with our nervous system and even our DNA, influencing everything from immunity to hormone function to long-term well-being.

In other words, how we live, what we carry, and what we believe matters deeply.

Becoming who we were created to be often requires us to shed the weights—the stored stress, limiting beliefs, emotional residue, and energetic burdens that no longer serve us. When we take radical responsibility for our physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health, we begin to shift into a higher vibrational state that supports regulation, healing, and ultimately, thriving.

The Sozo Flow Method is a trauma-informed healing modality I believe to be a divine gift. It is designed to bring renewal to the whole person: body, mind, soul, and spirit. This work is not just about symptom relief. It is about restoring alignment, clearing what no longer belongs, and making space for the truest version of you to emerge.

This method is about healing, yes. But more than that, it is about returning to the fullest expression of who you were always meant to be.

Causes of Trapped Emotions

  • Divorce or relationship problems

  • Loss of a loved one

  • Miscarriage or abortion

  • Home, work, or chronic stress

  • Financial hardship or physical illness

  • Internalizing your feelings

  • PTSD / any traumatic event

  • Negative self-talk/beliefs about self or others

  • Self-sabotage or low self-esteem

  • Physical, mental, sexual, verbal, or emotional trauma, abuse, or neglect

  • Rejection, betrayal, or abandonment

Every emotion carries a unique energetic frequency. When these emotional energies become lodged within our bodies, they disrupt the balance, affecting not only our organs and tissues but also our overall energy fields, thoughts, and moods. Dr. David Hawkins' Consciousness Scale illustrates how negative emotions vibrate at significantly lower frequencies. These lower vibrations can cloud our perspectives, influence our health, and shape our life experiences in profound ways.

Understanding this connection between emotions and their frequencies helps us appreciate the importance of addressing and releasing these energies to elevate our wellbeing and transform our outlook on life.

Sozo Flow Explained

  • Trapped emotions are often invisible burdens, remnants of past experiences, unresolved grief, or unprocessed trauma that become embedded in the body. These emotional imprints are not just mental memories; they often manifest as symptoms that affect health, strain relationships, and limit both personal and spiritual growth. They can create barriers to connection, joy, and peace, leaving you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself and others.

At a deeper level, trapped emotions can act as internal stress signals. They linger in the nervous system and may influence the body’s tissues, organs, and energy pathways, creating tension, discomfort, or even illness. Each emotion carries a unique frequency, and when these frequencies remain unresolved, they can disrupt the body’s God-designed balance and regulation.

Releasing these emotional burdens is a key step toward restoring your body’s natural ability to heal. Through tools like the Sozo Flow Method, we can gently identify and release what has been stored, bringing freedom to both the body and the heart. As these emotional weights are lifted, many people begin to experience physical relief, emotional clarity, and a deeper sense of connection with who they were created to be.

  • Healing is not something we have to strive for. It is something our bodies are designed for. Through a simple five-step framework, I help clients gently release stored emotional burdens that may be impacting their physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Each session is rooted in prayer, guided by the Holy Spirit, and grounded in the belief that God is the true source of healing.

    Prayer & Review
Every session begins in prayer. I give thanks for the wisdom and tools God has made known to His people and invite the Holy Spirit to lead. I review your intake and follow-up forms to understand what your body and nervous system may be communicating.

    Discover
The subconscious mind is a powerful part of the way God designed us. It holds information that can reveal what your body needs to return to balance—physically, emotionally, spiritually, environmentally, and intellectually. Through prayer and muscle testing, I ask God to guide me in connecting with this wisdom.

    Expose
With that connection in place, I use prayerful, specific questioning paired with emotion and belief charts, muscle testing, and Scripture to uncover what may be interfering with your health. This can include trapped emotions, old belief systems, or reactions to food, toxins, or stressors. Every step is submitted to God for discernment.

    Release
Once identified, these imbalances are released through a combination of therapeutic magnets, prayer, and gentle techniques rooted in God’s design for the body. Magnets act as a tool, much like how essential oils or fasting can support the body. The focus remains on asking God to do what only He can do—bring healing.

    Empower
When emotional burdens are lifted, many people feel lighter, more at peace, and more aligned with the person God created them to be. The goal is not just relief but restoration. As you move forward, you may notice gradual or even immediate shifts in your physical and emotional well-being.

    Please Note
Because these sessions are led by prayer and spiritual discernment, I do not typically conduct them live via phone or Zoom. This allows for deeper focus and uninterrupted connection with the Lord’s leading. If you prefer to be present during a session, we can discuss options during your intake.

  • our body carries an innate, God-given wisdom. It knows exactly which trapped emotions are ready to be released and the order in which to release them. During our sessions, I’ll guide you in tuning into that wisdom so we can uncover what your body is prepared to let go of.

In a typical 30-minute session, it’s possible to release between five and ten trapped emotions. The process is deeply personal and often depends on the intensity or age of the emotional burdens. Sometimes your body may only be ready to release two or three emotions, and that’s not just okay—it’s sacred. Trust the timing. Trust the design. Your body knows.

Once your body has released what it can for that session, you might notice that muscle testing pauses temporarily. This happens because your body is shifting into processing mode, doing the inner work of integration and repair. Processing usually takes one to two days, though for some it may last up to four to seven days depending on what was released.

Every person’s experience is unique, from how many emotions are released to how the body feels afterward. Even if two people are working on the same issue, the emotions involved are often completely different. Each session is intentionally shaped with reverence, prayer, and deep respect for the individual healing path God is unfolding in you.

  • You might notice a variety of sensations as trapped emotions begin to release during our sessions. It’s not uncommon for these releases to manifest physically. Some clients report yawning, which is a powerful sign of energy shifting, while others feel chills, a brief wave of nausea, a fleeting headache, or even burping. Occasionally, people describe a surge of energy expanding from their core to their extremities.

Remember that every body is wonderfully unique, and so is the way it processes release. Sometimes you may feel the emotion rise as it leaves, such as anger, sadness, or another feeling that briefly washes over you. Other times you might not notice anything at all during or after the session.

Both experiences are completely normal and valid. Your healing journey is personal and sacred, unfolding at its own pace and in the way that is right for you.

  • Our session will be conducted by proxy from my home on the day we’ve scheduled together. This approach allows us to connect deeply without needing to be on the phone or physically present in the same space.

In proxy testing, I serve as your stand-in, similar to how a phone allows two people to connect across long distances. Your body has a beautiful, God-designed ability to reach out and establish an energetic connection that allows me to tune into what is needed as if we were having a direct conversation. Through this connection, I’m able to test and address imbalances wherever you are in the world.

This sacred time of discovery and release is always wrapped in prayer, creating a gentle, Spirit-led space for healing. To protect the integrity of this quiet and reflective process, sessions are conducted without phone or Zoom interruptions.

If being virtually present during the session is important to you, simply let me know during your intake, and we can discuss what feels most supportive for your journey.

  • After each session, you’ll receive a Session Report, which serves as a summary of your energy healing journey. This report thoughtfully outlines the work we did together, highlighting the emotions that were identified and released. It may also include gentle recommendations or supportive practices to help you integrate the healing, along with any meaningful insights that emerged during our time.

I’ll email this report to you as a PDF attachment within 24 hours of your session. Please know that your privacy is always protected. The report will include only your name and a general overview of the session, with no sensitive personal details shared.

This document is meant to be a touchstone, something you can return to for reflection, encouragement, and guidance as your healing continues to unfold.

  • Carrying emotional baggage, whether from trauma, stress, or past wounds, can weigh heavily on us, often for years. It’s important to honor your body’s pace and readiness when it comes to releasing deeply held emotional energy.

In Emotional Release Therapy, once an emotion is released, your body enters what I refer to as a Processing Period. This is a vital time of integration and healing that typically spans one to two days.

About twenty percent of individuals experience temporary processing symptoms during this time. These might include increased emotional sensitivity, episodes of crying, shifts in sleep patterns such as restlessness or needing more sleep, vivid dreams, mild headaches, or fatigue. All of these responses are normal. Your nervous system is simply adjusting to the emotional shift.

At the end of your session, I’ll let you know how long your body may need to process and offer gentle, supportive suggestions to ease the transition. Some people feel these shifts strongly, while others move through this phase quietly with few noticeable sensations.

Most often, what follows is a sense of lightness, clarity, and joy. If those feelings don’t arise right away, they often surface once your body completes its processing.

This time is sacred, a space of renewal where healing unfolds in its own gentle rhythm, under the care and timing of the One who designed your body to heal.

  • The concept of a Heart-Wall refers to the unresolved, unprocessed emotions that accumulate around the heart over time. It is believed that as many as ninety-three percent of people carry this energetic barrier, built layer by layer from emotional residue the body was not able to fully process in the moment.

The Heart-Wall is not a flaw. It is a protective mechanism crafted by the subconscious mind to shield us during times of deep emotional pain. In moments of trauma or heartache, this invisible wall acts as a refuge, much like a shelter during a storm.

Over time, if the wall remains, it can begin to block the very things we were created for — connection, intimacy, emotional freedom, and authentic living. Staying hidden behind a wall long after the threat has passed can leave us feeling disconnected, unfulfilled, or emotionally numb.

One of the most profound outcomes of Emotional Release Therapy is the ability to gently identify and begin dismantling the Heart-Wall, one layer at a time. As it clears, many people experience a deeper sense of clarity, connection, and emotional freedom, opening the way to live with an unguarded and fully present heart.

  • Children Get Trapped Emotions Too

It’s a common misconception that emotional release therapy is only for adults, that children are too young or innocent to carry the kind of emotional weight we associate with adulthood. The truth is that children feel deeply, and they experience challenges that often go unseen or misunderstood.

Kids and teens view the world through a different lens—one that is sensitive, developing, and still learning how to process emotion. Their experiences can affect them physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. The Sozo Flow Method helps identify and release imbalances at the root, supporting children through:

    • Low self-esteem or social challenges
    • Persistent fears or obsessive thoughts
    • Neurodiversity such as Autism, Asperger’s, or PDD-NOS
    • Chronic illness or physical conditions
    • Body image issues or disordered eating
    • Emotional, mental, physical, or sexual abuse
    • Mood swings or depression
    • Academic struggles
    • Reactions to medical or dental trauma
    • Sleep disturbances like nightmares, night terrors, or bedwetting
    • Early trauma, including traumatic birth experiences
    • Behavioral diagnoses such as ADHD, ODD, or OCD
    • Navigating spiritual gifts or sensitivities
    • Bullying, whether being bullied or acting out toward others
    • Family changes such as divorce or blended families
    • Responses to vaccines or medications
    • High anxiety or intense emotional reactions

Even children who seem well-adjusted on the outside can benefit from regular energy sessions as part of a preventative wellness routine. These sessions help remove trapped emotions, but they also build emotional resilience, supporting a healthy energy field for long-term well-being.

Children of all ages, whether verbal or nonverbal, can be muscle tested. In many cases, trapped emotions originate in the womb and reflect the mother’s emotional state during pregnancy. They can also be inherited or absorbed from fathers, siblings, or other close family members.

From birth experiences to school life and family dynamics, children accumulate emotional residue just like adults, and it can shape how they learn, connect, and cope.

Emotional release therapy is not only helpful for the child, it often brings more harmony to the entire household. It is a powerful tool for supporting emotional health at every age and a meaningful investment in the peace of your home.

  • Sozo is a Greek word meaning to save a suffering one, to make well, to heal, and to restore to health. It reflects the heart of what this work is rooted in: restoration, wholeness, and the deep belief that healing is possible.

Flow refers to the awareness that energy moves through the body, influencing how we feel physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

The body’s energy moves through meridians, a system of pathways that connect to every function and organ. When these pathways become blocked, distorted, or stagnant, symptoms often begin to appear. Thankfully, we have been given practical tools to help clear these disruptions and support the body in returning to homeostasis, its natural balanced state.

We are all born into the world with a river of energy, but life happens. Trauma, trapped emotions, limiting beliefs, and even lifestyle choices can toss metaphorical boulders into that river, disrupting the flow and keeping our nervous system stuck in survival mode.

We live in a fallen and broken world. No one escapes entirely free of pain or emotional residue. Yet we can clear many of the obstacles that weigh us down. When we do, the autonomic nervous system can shift into a calmer, healthier state — one where healing becomes more available and peace becomes more sustainable.
